Chocolate Cake Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Sift together flour and salt.
    In a large bowl, mix flour and salt with sugar.
    In a saucepan, mix cocoa, water and shortening. Bring to a boil.
    Add this to flour mixture.
    Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, soda and eggs. Mix well.
    Pour into 13 x 18-inch pan. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Top with frosting.
