Stay-A-Bed Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cubed
    1 can tiny peas
    1 c. sliced carrots
    2 chopped onions
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can cream of tomato soup
    1/2 can water
    1 large raw potato, sliced in large pieces
    1 bay leaf
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a large casserole with tight-fitting lid.
    Place in 275\u00b0 oven.
    Now you can go back to bed.
    It will cook all by itself and be done in five hours.
    Serves 4 to 6.
