Maply Appetizers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (13 1/2 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. Brown 'N Serve sausage links
    4 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maple-flavored syrup
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1 large green pepper, cut in 3/4-inch squares (about 2/3 c.)
    1/2 c. drained maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
    Cut sausages in thirds crosswise; brown in skillet.
    Blend cornstarch, salt, reserved pineapple syrup, maple syrup, water and vinegar.
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
    Add pineapple, sausage, pepper and cherries. Cook 5 minutes.
    Keep warm in chafing dish.
    Spear with cocktail picks.
