Eli Slocomb'S Oyster Casserole("Yankee Style") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. oysters with liquid
    1 box Royal milk crackers
    2 eggs
    1 to 2 sticks real butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Take rolling pin to crackers (if this won't make them behave, use food processor).
    Make lumpy crumbs.
    Save some crumbs for top. Beat eggs into absolute submission, using fork or switch.
    Mix eggs, crackers and oysters together in lightly greased 4-quart casserole.
    Add a \"bit\" of pepper and a \"smidge\" of salt. Refrigerate for 3 hours, then begin baking process.
