Fish Baked In Herb Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. cod fillets
3 Tbsp. minced onion
3 Tbsp. minced celery
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
buttered crumbs
Preparation

Cut fish into 1-inch pieces.
Saute onion and celery in butter or margarine until tender.
Stir in flour until smooth.
Add tomatoes, salt, pepper, sugar, thyme and minced parsley and bring to a boil.
Add sauce to fish and mix thoroughly.
Pour into greased casserole.
Top with buttered crumbs.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes until fish flakes easily.
