Parsnips In Broth - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. parsnips, grated (about 1 c.)
1 garlic clove, minced
2 c. chicken broth
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro or parsley
dash of cayenne pepper
dash of freshly ground black pepper
Preparation

Combine the parsnips, garlic and 1/4 cup broth in a 1-quart casserole.
Cover tightly and cook on High for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the parsnips are slightly tender.
Stir in the remaining 1 3/4 cups broth, cilantro or parsley, cayenne and black pepper. Cover again and cook on High for 4 to 6 minutes, or until heated through.
