Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 ripe bananas
3 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
3 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten eggs.
Mix well.
Put bananas through sieve; add lemon juice, then add to mixture.
Sift remaining dry ingredients together and mix well with banana mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Pour into greased 9-inch loaf pan.
Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
