Hot Milk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 stick margarine
1 tsp. poppy seed

Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar.
Heat milk and margarine.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with hot milk and margarine.
Add flavorings.
Bake in 2 greased and floured cake pans or tube pan.
