Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter (real butter)
    1 large chopped onion
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 can mushrooms and juice
    3 cans beef consomme
    2 c. water
    2 c. rice (uncooked; do not use Minute rice)
Preparation
    Melt butter; add onion, oregano, mushrooms, liquids, then rice.
    Simmer 20 minutes.
    Bake in covered dish 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
