Daddy'S Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Prepare pastry.
Beat eggs slightly with rotary beater.
Beat in remaining ingredients.
Pour into 9-inch pastry lined pie pan.
Bake 20 minutes.
Reduce oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
