Raw Pear Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 l/2 c. oil
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. diced pears or apples
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and pour into 11 x 16-inch pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Punch top full of holes so icing will seep into cake.
    Top with Buttermilk Icing.
