Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. warm water
1/4 c. sugar
1 envelope yeast
Preparation

Mix together in plastic or glass container and let stand overnight in a warm place with a lid, but do not cover tightly. Refrigerate, covered, but stir each day.
On the fifth day, feed with 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup sugar.
You can use this starter to make the Amish Friendship Bread.
