Red Waldorf Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. Crisco
    2 1/4 c. cake flour
    1 oz. red food coloring
    2 tsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cream sugar, eggs and shortening.
    Mix cocoa and food coloring and add to above.
    Sift salt and flour and add alternately with buttermilk.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix baking soda and vinegar and add last.
    Bake in 2 (8-inch) pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
