Salmon Steaks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

salmon steaks (as fresh as possible; one 1-inch steak per person)
lemon juice
1 small onion
butter or margarine
seafood seasoning (optional)
Preparation

Wash salmon and place on foil lined pan.
Place small pieces of shaved butter or margarine, approximately one piece per square inch, on one side of salmon.
Cut very thin slices of onion and place on top of the butter or margarine.
Pour enough lemon juice on steaks to coat all surfaces (a small amount may be used by tilting pan and spooning over steaks).
Leave juice in pan. Seasoning may be added, if desired.
Cook under preheated oven broiler for 7 to 10 minutes per side, depending on broiler temperature.
Do not overcook.
