Mom'S Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
3 c. sugar
5 large eggs
1 c. milk
Preparation

Cream butter and Crisco.
Add sugar and beat well.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat after each egg.
Add flour and milk; beat again.
Grease tube pan well and flour.
Put cake into oven while it is cold.
Turn oven to 300\u00b0 and bake for 1 hour.
Turn oven up to 325\u00b0.
Bake for 30 minutes.
