Chili Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. bacon
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 pod garlic
    1 small can tomato paste (Contadina preferred)
    1 can tomato sauce (Contadina preferred)
    2 cans water
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
    few drops lemon juice (optional)
    salt and cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Cut bacon in small pieces and crisp.
    Pour off most of the grease.
    Chop 1 medium-size onion.
    Crush 1 pod garlic.
    Cook until onion is tender.
    Remove from skillet.
    Open tomato paste and heat to remove any excess liquid.
    Add tomato sauce and water.
    Simmer slowly; add chili powder, salt and pepper (cayenne) to taste. Simmer slowly at least 45 minutes.
    Cook spaghetti as directed on package.
    This is good with plain lettuce salad and French bread (garlic butter).
