Yum Yum Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
2 c. crushed pineapple
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
1/2 pt. whipped cream
Preparation

Stir water and gelatin; let dissolve.
Heat pineapple, lemon juice and sugar.
Mix gelatin and pineapple mixture and place in refrigerator until mixture begins to congeal.
Stir grated cheese into mixture.
Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into mold and chill until firm.
Serve with dressing.
