Sunday Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/3 c. molasses
2/3 c. milk
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk

Preparation

In mixing bowl, put flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, Crisco, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, molasses and milk.
Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in baking powder and soda.
Add eggs and milk.
Beat 2 minutes.
Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
