Creamy Chicken Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 small onion, diced
    1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. half and half
    2 c. cubed cooked potatoes
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
    chopped parsley (garnish)
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter or margarine, cook onion until tender, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in flour and salt.
    Gradually stir in half and half; cook, stirring, until thickened.
    Stir potatoes and chicken into mixture.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover skillet and simmer about 10 minutes, or until mixture is heated through, stirring occasionally.
    Garnish with parsley.
    Serves 4.
