Lorene Staggs' Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
3 c. sugar
3 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
6 eggs
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream butter with Crisco.
Add sugar and beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift in flour; add cocoa, salt and baking powder, adding gradually along with flour mixture and milk.
Add vanilla.
Bake on middle rack of oven at 300\u00b0, in a tube pan for 1 1/2 hours.
