Layered Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium head lettuce
6 green onions, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
2 c. low-fat mayonnaise
4 oz. shredded cheese
2 medium tomatoes
1/4 c. bacon bits
Preparation

ingredients
as
listed,
making sure that tomatoes are sliced and attractively spaced. Bacon bits should be added just before serving, but the rest of the salad can be covered and refrigerated for several hours or even overnight.
