Winter Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. cucumbers
    1 qt. green tomatoes
    1 qt. onions
    1/2 qt. cut green beans
    1 small cabbage
    3 to 4 carrots, chopped fine
    1 c. salt
    6 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 c. flour
    5 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Place cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, green beans, cabbage, carrots and salt in pot.
    Cover ingredients with water; let stand 1 hour, then drain.
    Add mustard, flour, sugar, vinegar and turmeric to vegetable mixture.
    Stir and cook approximately 1/2 hour or more.
