Lowell'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 sticks butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon
    8 eggs
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter together.
    Add eggs and flour alternately beating after each addition.
    Pour into 10-inch tube pan which has been greased and floured.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
