Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 fully baked yellow cake (oblong)
    1 pkg. fresh strawberries
    1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 container Cool Whip
    2 boxes strawberry jello
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Once cake is baked and cooled, use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes in top (4 across and 8 rows down).
    Combine jello packages with 2 cups of boiling water.
    Stir well.
    Let cool slightly, then pour in holes of cake.
    Wash strawberries and remove stems.
    Slice 1/2 of the strawberries.
    Spread sliced strawberries on top of cake.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
    Spread Cool Whip on top of cake.
    Decorate top with remaining strawberries. Refrigerate for 1 hour and serve.
    Store in refrigerator.
