Lazy Daisy Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. raisins
    2 eggs
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
    Add milk alternately with dry ingredients, which have been sifted 3 times (beginning and ending with the dry ingredients).
    Add vanilla, nuts and raisins.
    Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake in a moderately hot oven (400\u00b0) for 20 to 25 minutes.
