Vegetable Medley - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. sliced onions
    2 c. celery, chopped
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    2 c. green beans
    3/4 c. green peppers, sliced
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Layer first 5 vegetables in 2-quart casserole and sprinkle with cornstarch, sugar, margarine, salt and pepper.
    Pour tomatoes over top, cover and bake 1 1/2 hours.
