Island Carrots - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can pineapple tidbits (undrained)
1 Tbsp. honey
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. onion powder
6 large carrots, cut in pieces
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. unsalted peanuts or cashews
Preparation

Reserve pineapple tidbits.
Combine juice and the next 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to boil; cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in pineapple; continue to cook 5 minutes.
Stir cornstarch and water mixture into carrots; stir until thickens. Remove from heat.
Place in serving dish; garnish with nuts. Makes 8 servings.
