French Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 c. warm water
    3 c. white flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 to 2 Tbsp. canola oil
Preparation
    Mix together yeast, sugar and warm water.
    When yeast foams add flour, salt and oil.
    Add more flour, if needed, to make a soft dough.
    Knead for 10 minutes.
    Let rise to double.
    Punch down and make into loaves.
    When doubled, slash tops with a sharp knife. Bake at 375\u00b0 about 40 minutes or until it sounds hollow when you rap on it.
