Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cream
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. imitation rum extract
2 to 3 firm bananas
Preparation

In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, mix brown sugar, cream, corn syrup and butter. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir until mixture thickens, about 3 minutes; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and imitation rum extract. Slice bananas diagonally into syrup.
