Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg or lemon flavoring or both
1 Tbsp. soft butter
2 egg whites, beaten

Preparation

Add butter to potatoes and beat smooth. Add beaten egg yolks, sugar and flavoring. Stir in milk and fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in unbaked pie shell at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 2 pies.
