Noel Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 apples
1 (4 oz.) jar green maraschino cherries
1 (4 oz.) jar red maraschino cherries
dash of sugar
3/4 c. walnuts
1/8 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. dates
1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation

Partially peel apples, leaving some skin on for color.
Then quarter and coarsely chop.
Sprinkle lemon juice on apples to prevent apples from discoloring and toss thoroughly.
In another bowl cut up the dates, cherries and nuts.
Sprinkle apples with sugar.
Refrigerate both bowls of fruit.
Just before serving, mix all together, adding as much sour cream as desired for dressing. Serve immediately.
