Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage (reserve broth)
    crackers
    chopped onion
    butter
    cheese
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Boil cabbage until limp.
    Line bottom of dish with crackers. Layer cabbage on top.
    Layer onion; continue to layer.
    Put 4 pats of butter on top.
    Top with more crackers, then cheese.
    Mix 1/2 cup broth and 1/2 cup milk; pour to just under top layer.
    Bake until cheese melts.
