Sherry Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. stew beef, trimmed and cut into bite size pieces
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    3/4 c. sherry or Burgundy wine
    Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Place uncooked meat in baking dish.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meat.
    (Add Kitchen Bouquet if desired to color sauce.
    Add fresh or canned mushrooms, if desired.)
    Bake 3 hours in a 325\u00b0 oven or longer.
    Serve over noodles or rice.
