Self-Rising Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour
3 level Tbsp. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Blend flour and shortening, then add buttermilk.
Roll out 1/4-inch thickness.
Fold over and roll out again, then cut out biscuits.
Put immediately into 475\u00b0 oven.
When biscuits begin to brown, remove from oven and put under broiler and brown to desired color.
