Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    8 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. cream or evaporated milk
Preparation
    Dissolve sugar in milk.
    Stir in salt, vanilla and cream.
    Pour into ice cream freezer and freeze.
    Makes one gallon.
