Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. carrots, finely shredded
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, combine oil and sugar.
Add slightly beaten eggs and blend well.
Stir in flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon.
Beat several times and add to mixture alternately with finely shredded carrots.
Pour batter into 3 lightly greased and floured layer pans.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
Cool completely and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting. Sprinkle chopped pecans between layers and top.
