Indescribably Delicious - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    60 Ritz crackers (12 to 15 aside for topping)
    1 stick butter or margarine
    2 (1.7 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate instant pudding
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
    8 oz. container Cool Whip
Preparation
    Crush crackers by hand.
    Set 12 to 15 crushed crackers aside. Melt butter and mix into crackers.
    Press crackers into 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Mix pudding and 1 1/2 cups of milk together.
    Fold softened ice cream into pudding.
    Spoon mixture into pan over crackers. Refrigerate for 1 hour (not in freezer).
    Spread Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle remaining crackers on top.
    Refrigerate.
