Feather Weight Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. milk
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening or vegetable oil
Preparation
    Combine
    dry
    ingredients and sift together in a mixing bowl. Combine
    egg,
    milk and shortening and pour all at once into mixing
    bowl with dry ingredients.\tMix until thoroughly blended. Pour
    a
    small
    amount
    of\tbatter onto hot, greased skillet or griddle and cook on one side until bubbles form all over
    top
    of pancake,
    then turn pancake over and cook other side.
    Makes 6 to 8 medium sized pancakes.
