Brownie Mound Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. light Karo syrup
    2 eggs
    6 (1 oz.) sq. melted unsweetened chocolate
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Set aside.
    Mix margarine with sugar.
    Stir in syrup and eggs.
    Stir in flour, chocolate, vanilla and walnuts.
    Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
    These cookies get soft and chewy when stored overnight in an airtight Tupperware type container.
    They also freeze well.
