Vanishing Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins
    3 c. uncooked rolled oats, old-fashion or quick
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat together margarine or butter and sugars until creamy.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; add to liquid mixture.
    Mix well.
    Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.
    Bake 30 minutes in 9 x 13-inch ungreased baking pan.
    Yield: 24 medium bars.
