Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash browns, thawed
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. sour cream
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 stick margarine
    2 c. corn flake crumbs
Preparation
    Melt 1 stick margarine in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.
    Put hash browns over melted margarine.
    (Lightly salt hash browns, if desired.)
    Mix together soup, sour cream, cheese, onion, salt and pepper.
    Spread over hash browns.
    Melt 1/2 stick margarine and combine with corn flake crumbs.
    Sprinkle over casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Let set 15 minutes before serving.
