Pastry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. cold milk
1 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift together into bowl the flour, salt and sugar.
Using a pastry blender, cut the shortening into the flour until it resembles corn meal.
Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, and just enough to make particles stick together.
Roll out 1/2 of pastry, fill pie pan and brush with melted butter.
Add fruit filling. Roll out remainder of pastry and place on top of pie.
