Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1 small onion
1 beaten egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix all together.
Drop about 1 teaspoon at a time in hot fat. Serve hot.
