Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
4 c. water
2 beef flavor bouillon cubes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 to 1 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
3/4 c. sliced celery
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 c. medium egg noodles
1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
Preparation

Brown beef and onions over medium heat.
Drain on paper towels.
Return to soup pot and add next 8 ingredients (tomatoes, water, bouillon, salt, pepper, bay leaf, celery and Worcestershire sauce).
Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
Add vegetables, noodles and thyme.
Bring to a boil, simmer, uncovered, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
