Nora'S Homemade Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 6 potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 small onion, diced
    2 to 3 stalks celery, diced
    water to cover vegetables
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (12 oz.) can condensed milk (or whole milk)
    1 Tbsp. flour or cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
Preparation
    Put vegetables in a large pot.
    Add water and spices.
    Bring to a boil; then cook on medium heat until tender.
    Mix the flour or cornstarch with a small amount of water until smooth; then add to the pot, stirring until well mixed.
    (If you use whole milk, you may need a little more flour or cornstarch.)
    Add milk and continue to stir.
    Continue to cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, until milk is well heated (do not boil).
    Add margarine or butter and stir.
