Yellow Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. squash, cut up
    1/2 stick oleo
    1/4 c. canned milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 onion, chopped fine
    1/2 lb. sharp grated cheese
    1/2 pkg. slivered almonds
    10 crackers, crushed fine
    1/2 stick oleo, melted
Preparation
    Cook and drain squash.
    Add 1/2 stick oleo, milk, salt, pepper and sugar to squash; then add eggs and onion.
    Combine cheese and almonds.
    In an oiled baking dish, layer squash first, then cheese and almond mixture.
    Sprinkle cracker crumbs and melted 1/2 stick oleo on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
