Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. barley
    6 c. chicken broth with some finely cut pieces chicken
    1 medium chopped onion
    1 c. milk
    grated carrot
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak barley 2 hours before you start cooking.
    Next, cook barley for 1 hour in 3 cups of water and then wash it.
    Mix the barley with the broth, chicken pieces and onion.
    Add grated carrots for color and cook for another hour.
    Add milk; bring to a boil and serve it.
    Enjoy the soup!
