Bara Brith(Welsh Christmas Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. currants
3 jars mixed candied fruit
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 lb. butter or 1 c. Crisco
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 pkg. dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. molasses
2 tsp. lemon extract
15 c. flour
Preparation

Cover fruit with enough water to cover. Boil to tender.
Take from heat. Add butter while hot and sugar.
When cool, add lemon extract, eggs and molasses.
Add yeast, flour, salt and spices. Blend well and let rise.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown on top and sounds hollow.
