Shoo-Fly Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. regular molasses
    1 1/2 c. hot water (boiling)
Preparation
    Mix first three ingredients like pie dough for crumbs.
    Take out 2 cups of these crumbs for top of pies.
    To remainder of crumbs in bowl, add next three ingredients and mix well.
    Dissolve 2 teaspoons baking soda in extra 1/2 cup hot water.
    Add to other liquid mixture.
    Divide liquid into 2 unbaked pie shells.
    Put crumbs on top and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Turn down to 375\u00b0 and bake about 30 minutes or until top is dry and done.
