Christmas Rusk(Julekake) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. heavy sour cream
1 tsp. soda, dissolved in small amount warm water
1 tsp. ground cardamom
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and mix.
Sift together dry ingredients and add with sour cream and soda.
Divide dough in thirds.
Put in loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until it pulls away from side of pan; cakes should be golden colored.
